What good do ideas do if they just sit in your head?
Post-Industrial Designers think about widely varied problem spaces, and often have ideas with potential, but little ability to act on them. We need a more vibrant canon of commentary on design and its relationship to the world.
I am active in building this canon with my work on IDFuel.com and Treehugger.com.
I have also contributed essays to Worldchanging.com, and had my essays re-printed around the web.
Mark Batty Publishers asked me to contribute an essay about LEGO blocks and sustainbility for their recent book Green Design (read the beginning of the essay in the Amazon preview)
